How to read this

Pick up to five weapons, choose a hit zone, helmet and body armor tier, a round type and a range. Every view recalculates instantly, and the address bar always holds your current setup so you can share it.

The damage model

Base damage × hit-zone multiplier × weapon-class multiplier × ammunition modifier × penetration effectiveness × armor reduction × pellet count × distance falloff. The same model as the damage calculator, so the numbers always agree.

Notes

Figures are community measurements, not official tables. Shots to kill assume every round lands on the zone you selected and that armor is intact; helmets only protect the head, and vests only the zones they cover.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a WARDOGS ballistics chart?
Yes. This page is a WARDOGS ballistics comparison tool: it puts up to five weapons side by side and shows shots to kill and time to kill across every armor tier, per-zone damage, shots-to-kill curves by range and a full ammo chart.
How is this different from the damage calculator?
The damage calculator walks one weapon, one ammo and one target through every hit zone. This page is built for comparison: several weapons at once, a shots-to-kill matrix across all armor levels, range graphs and an ammo table. Both use the same damage model, so the numbers always agree.
What do the colors mean?
They are the shots-to-kill scale: red for one shot, yellow for two, gold for three to four, dark gold for five to seven and grey beyond that. Heavier armor pushes a weapon further down the scale.
Can I share a specific comparison?
Yes. Every setting — weapons, hit zone, helmet, body armor, round type and range — is written into the address bar. Copy the link or press Share this view to send the exact setup to someone else.
