Frequently asked questions
What does the WARDOGS gunsmith calculator do?
It builds a weapon attachment by attachment. Choose a weapon, then pick a part for each slot — sights, muzzle, underbarrel, magazine, barrel, stock, grip and so on. The running total price, total weight and every affected stat update as you go.
How much does a build cost?
The panel adds up the trader price of the weapon and every attachment you fit, so you can see the cost before you spend anything in game. Swap a part and the total changes immediately.
Which stats change when I fit an attachment?
Recoil, ADS (aim-down-sights) time, zoom level, zeroing distance and weight are the ones that move most often. Attachments can also trade one against another — a heavy barrel steadies recoil but slows ADS and adds weight, which is exactly the trade-off the calculator makes visible.
Should I optimise for recoil or ADS speed?
It depends on how you fight. Close-quarters builds usually favour ADS speed and light weight, while longer-range builds favour recoil control and zoom. Because the calculator shows all the numbers at once you can see what each part costs you elsewhere before committing.
Does it include every attachment in the game?
It uses the community item database, which covers the attachments, calibers and prices the community has measured. If the game adds parts after an update, they appear once the database is refreshed.
